Damaged or Defective Items Policy

We take great care in packaging all products purchased from Wooden World but  if your item arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

  • Reporting Timeframe: Any damages must be reported within 48hours of delivery.

  • Proof of Damage: Provide clear photos of:

    • The damaged item

    • The packaging (inside and outside)

    • The shipping label

  • Recording Damage at Delivery: If the packaging appears visibly damaged upon arrival, we strongly recommend that you document the damage with the delivery driver and take photos before accepting the package. If possible, request the driver to note the damage in their system.

  • Inspection & Resolution: Once reviewed, we will determine if you are eligible for a replacement, refund, or store credit. Claims submitted after the 48-hour reporting period may not be eligible for a refund or replacement. However, we encourage customers to contact us, and we will assess cases on a discretionary basis.

  • If an item arrives damaged, we will provide a replacement as the first resolution. If a replacement is not possible or the replacement is also faulty, a refund will be issued. Refund requests for damaged items will only be considered if a replacement cannot be provided.

  • Exclusions: Damage due to misuse, modifications, or neglect will not be covered.

  • Return Shipping: Depending on the situation, we may provide a prepaid return label or ask the customer to cover return shipping costs.
